HAMSTICK dipole on 75,40, or 20?

Anybody have any first hand experience on double hamsticks mounted kinda BUDDIPOLE fashion?

I'd like to have a field antenna in places without convenient trees. I'm thinking of an FT-817 and some kind of a tuner.

    Thanks, & 73,

    Don

Yes, they work... but the 20 meter one will work better. And easier to tune.

What's fun is getting it up in the air, so you can spin it between vertical and horizontal... or even a sloper.

I've used a 75/80m hamstick version for portable NVIS. Sloping it works well.

    Bunneh agrees!

Better results on 20m or better than the lower freqs.
