    Any Bluetooth egg-spurts?

I'm playing with a Bluetooth headset (Plantronics Voyager 855) that I got last year for my iPod Touch. Works fine for that.

Thinking I could use it for Skype on a netbook, I bought a cheap Bluetooth USB adapter for the netbook. This works fine with a Bluetooth mouse. Got the netbook to recognize the headset in both Ubuntu and in Windows XP. Seems to have installed just fine. Netbook is an Acer Aspire One.

Here's the problem: If I go to the sound properties in either Ubuntu or XP, the Bluetooth headset isn't an option -- it only sees the built-in sound on the netbook. There doesn't seem to be a way to direct the audio (output OR input) to the Bluetooth device.

Any ideas? I would have thought that once "paired" the headset would just show up as another audio device, but it's not there with either OS.

Total Bluetooth noob here (Klingon level == null). Nothing urgent; just playing.

Got it working -- just required the right drivers.
