Genesis SDR kits - anyone build one yet?

I am thinking seriously about building the G40 kit. Anyone build one of these yet?

I've been building and working with 0402's so much, I don't know how to work with leaded components anymore.

SDR/DSP is very cool. I've built 8 SoftRock IF rcvr kits, 4 for 455kc and 4 for 500kc, use them with the IF output of several old rcvrs here. Also have a Cubic CDR-3280 rcvr that is a very good performer and relies heavily on SDR/DSP for that performance.

The Genesis kits look great and you couldn't ask for much more bang for the buck, very reasonable price.

I would say, go for it.

And, of course, report back to us with results and opinion along the way.
