It looks like we have a path issue to the emoticons. I'll be looking into that shortly. It may be something even an idiot like myself can fix!
Whatever you want to call them... it seems our smilies were replaced by vBulletin default images during the software install. I am working to get our set back.
In the meantime, I added 12 of the least hideous images from the default set. Hope to have this worked out soon...
Thanks,
Luke
I will be getting the folder from the old server containing these image files soon. We should have our custom set of smilies back later today!
The only issue I have is a flat tire on my truck. If I didn't know better, I would think that in the middle of the night (MST) Carl stealthfully sailed up the Salt River in his antique sailboat, and let the air out. But I think I should have heard him with all the old creaking joints. Mostly in HIS and not so much the boats.
The only issue I have is that Eddie never misses an opportunity to insult me here. Can you fix that, Mike?
I now have the original emoticon set as created and set up in order by Jeff. It will take me about an hour, but I'll have them back in their original locations then.
I'll be receptive to new emoticon images going forward, but I'm going to make Jeff's list the default set, ordered just as he had them. It will be his everlasting contribution to the forums.
Any new ones, plus the hideous 12 already installed will be displayed in an additional set, and will be accessible.
Thanks,
Luke
I'd like to figure out how to make an animated emoticon of the blue Mohawk penguin DJ.
Three words - invalid security token. Several times when attempting replies to threads or PM's - for what it's worth.
Trying it again...

I found some issues with site URL access, request someone also try the following in case the problem is on my end.
1. www.hamisland.net - reports "Server not found"
2. hamisland.net - Get login page, The address is changed (as expected) to https://forums.hamisland.net/login.php?do=login, but with message "Invalid Redirect URL (http://hamisland.net)
3. forums.hamisland.net - link works fine, as expected
4. hamisland.com - properly redirects to forums.hamisland.net
5. www.hamisland.com - properly redirects to forums.hamisland.net
6. When I open a second window of forums.hamisland.net, I lose secure connection to the first window, get message: forums.hamisland.net connection is not secure. Parts of this page is not secure (such as images). This thread reports not secure. Parent thread reports secure, sibling threads report secure.
These problems are repeatable.
Ssame problem here with www.hamisland.net.
No problem with redirect on hamisland.net, however.
These problems are solved :)
Added A record for www.hamisland.net
Both hamisland.net and www.hamisland.net are valid, but still get invalid redirect. hamisland.com redirects fine, and can log in that way.
Screen shots of problems still existing....
Redirect error

Also having difficulties with images. Never had problems with images (or graphs), ask anyone who has been here for awhile... links work.
hamisland.net, and www.hamisland.net do not display server errors

Yeah... still getting unsecure warning messages for many threads... not all of them, and repeatable.
In Tech Talk....
Cool Clocks thread is secure:

But "Users" thread is not

Invalid redirect as well...
Not checked the other issues yet.
The blue Mohawk is dancing. :snicker:
Does page security depend on DNS entry?
unrelated to the various names... i used to get a simplified mobile theme when on Android and the full theme on a proper desktop browser (all chrome)... and now I only get the full version even on mobile...
We do have an issue with images. We need to install image processing libraries to resize and display images. I've sent a request along to Mike on this, and will advise on the progress.
Images will only upload as a jpg, but will display as an attachment. I don't think this will be a difficult fix.
Busiest the server has been all day lol!
