Kath and I finally put the Chevelle in our town car show. We ran into some people we haven't seen in 45 years. I had a blast, think we will do it again next year.

See George, it was worth it. Glad you enjoyed yourselves and that IS a nice specimen you have there. Kewl!
Is that the only car color they have back there?
Man. That must have taken a lot of socks to huff all those other colors colors.
Nice looking heap.
Certainly was better looking than the Cherry Bomb I used to drive, a long, long time ago. (1972 AMC Ambassador)
Well, there is a bluish greenish camaroish looking car in the background, so.....
It was this. It had an 800 HP big block in it. Sounded bad ass. Attachment 15484
NICE!!!!!!!!!
I retract my previous comment on post 6
It was a tank, but it was cheap.
At one time, I had a Polycom PC-6 mounted under the dash, with a 6 meter halo on the bumper. (Not that I made many contacts with it). Made it easy to find in the parking lot. That and an HW-2036A fit with room to spare. The Polycom is long gone, but I still have the 2036.
And now you know one of the things I love about the PVGP. The Patron Parade on Sunday, which includes a LOT of classic cars from just about all eras. And being at Flag Corner 18, we get to direct the Parade on AND off the course!
On Edit:
Here's two from the 2017 Patron Parade for the Camaro lovers out there...
