The 'users who has visited today' seems to borked. I'll deal with it when I'm more conscious. ;)
Things are slightly different but nothing bad so far. When I typed the address it I landed on what seemed to be like a hot threads board or something similar. Threw me off for a moment but I just woke up. =p
I clicked on "What's new" and kinda freaked out, but, I could get used to the look pretty quick.
Thanks for everything, Jeff.
It's a little too Facebook-timeline-ish for me.
Nothing we can do about it though, there was a security concern and I had to update. :dunno: Hopefully they'll refine it a little.
I get what you mean. Not so bad though.
tnx agn.
Working fine here, thanks for the update ;)
I preferred the tighter format of the old look, but who am I to stand in the way of progress? I'll adjust to it and soon enough won't even remember the old format.
I get this 'activity stream' screen when I first log in, but it reverts back to the original index page on a refresh. Interesting.
Hmm, that doesn't work for me... Just the activity stream.
It is kind of face-bookish.
So far so good here...
Find the "Activity Stream" thing really annoying. The old "What's New" screen would take me to the first new post in any given thread, the new one does not.
Sorry guys, working on reverting to the old behavior.. stick with me just another few hours. :)
FWIW, I don't like it either.
The main page should now be what it was prior to the upgrade. Please test and let me know.
Thanks guys! Sorry again, I didn't expect so many changes with a mid version upgrade.
Lots better, thanks.
I live on the "New Posts" button and haven't noticed any problems today. Haven't quite decided what I think of the Facebook thingy. I'll try it all out on the Fire later.
Thanks, Jeff!
Please please please let me know about this. I know you were having issues with the previous upgrade on your tablet. I'd like to know whether or not it's been resolved.
FWIW, it seems to work on the default browser on the Galaxy Tab 2.. which is very-very similar to the Fire.
J
I think I like it the way it is right now.
I just realized that there is still a New Posts button just under the What's New button.
http://forums.hamisland.net/search.php?do=getdaily is how I keep up with the latest activity.
The tabs at the top are bass ackwards. Change makes me sad.
This upgrade interestingly enough has solved a quibble i've had with side page extension regarding "The Island of Misfit Hams statistics" section which was running off my browser page! ...... back to normal again
Are you working on it now? I seem to be getting 3 seconds of spike lag ever 45 seconds or so. Only on the island. So was just curious. It may just be my isp being silly.
It's all working fine with Windows Mango.
Also Mac OS X Widdle Puddy Tat.
Yea, it's back.
That function used to be a 3rd party add on... and they incorporated it into the latest release, so finding the right setting was more difficult than expected. ;) Luke found it..
Anyone have a problem with the forum not quoting automatically when you reply with quote? I've had this happen a couple different times but I can't put my finger on what causes it.
Works great on my crappy LG Optimus S running Android 2.3!
