Anyone ever have this? It's thick like honey and tastes divine. The Mexicans make a liqueur of it too.
Saw some in Wally's but it was the processed stuff. Has to be the RAW chit to be good.

We use it all the time. I really like it.
That bottle is like 9 bucks here.

You are aware that Mexico has nearly wiped out the agave crop due to over cultivation for the tequila market.

Everything goes to hell eventually.
Is'nt that the chit the diabetics are now praising as the new form of sugar that won't kill ya like regular sugar. Kinda pricey though yes ??
I tried it in my coffee this morning (A vendor left a bottle at our coffee station). Meh. I'm not excited about it.
It has to be the RAW, unprocessed stuff. Use it for it's unique flavor, not the cooked crap that has no taste, only sweetness.
You can get he raw agave nectar at Trader Joes.
Chit, no Trader Joe's here. The supplement stores have it but it's spendy.
I've tried it quite a few times with fancy coffees.
Pretty good, but I still prefer dark brown sugar in the java.
Another wild sweetener is honey made from buckwheat.
Dark molasses earthy raisin taste, amazing on pancakes.
And, in the java...

I've had that, quite different from most honeys. I've been going nutz over yogurt lately and am anxious to try a full array of toppings with it. Wild huckleberry preserves not excluded.
Im not much for sweetener, particularly in my coffee. What else may one use this substance for? Maybe on a pastry? That I could go for. =)
Yogurt man.....yogurt.
Went to Dodge to do some shoppin and bought 12 oz RAW Agave nectar at the Health food (supplement) store. It's quite dark brown in color.
Then went to Costco and darn if they weren't giving out samples. The sample was rather subtle in flavor but very good tasting.
Got home and poured the other on some yogurt. GEEEZ, it tasted like the plastic bottle it was in. Noticed it was bottled 266 (day) 2010 (11 months old)
Life can suck at times. I immediately checked all my fingers and toes, things could have been worse.
