In Texas, things like ''dildos'' were illegal until 2005 when the Supreme Court ruled to not let states make individual sodomy laws. Up until then, what consenting adults did in the privacy of their homes, sexually, was often regulated by the state. In some states, everything outside of the Missionary position would be illegal.
