Yep, it's a Collins 18S-4 for $1,500 and quoted from the auction descripttion, "This is one of the nicest Ham Radios I have ever found!" :rofl:

Now as you can see in my thread, I scored the identical transceiver for $80 at the Dalton,GA Hamfest 2010. :rofl:

Basically these things are ART-13s that have crystal control only, pair of 811As modulating a single 813 with what appears to be the identical modulation transformer used in the ART-13.

Who in their right mind would pay this nimrod $1500 for this thing!? :roll:

I know we used to call them Mattel Toys because of the feel of the plastic stock and grip. Somehow I doubt that Mattel ever produced an M-16. Maybe they supplied the stocks and grips?
