Ahh...but the bw and "get the word out" advantages are, to me, well worth the effort of at least tolerating it. Don't do CW often -- I'd rather yak on a mic than work a key, but once in a while I'll venture down to the low end of the band & have some enjoyable CW contacts. And it's a must during contests. Every time I get hoarse in a contest I appreciate CW more!

But, mileage varies all over the map on this. Not meant to stir up anything.
