It was another beautiful sunny day and 14 degrees Celsius today ........ definately spring like...... we are supposed to have this weather all this coming week.......very nice
It's about 2 deg right now going down to 2 below zero. Very cold weather and bouts of snow are on tap here for at least the next week or so.
30ºF (-1.11ºC)
Sleet, rain and freezing rain.
Yep. Going to be an ice storm.
Sunny and 68°F (19°C). I think I’ll change into shorts.
10 degrees with snow here again. Wind chills around -6, we may get into the 50's next week we will see.
18° F Snow Freezing Fog here in Richmond. Expecting 6" - 10" overnight. Nothing compared to Boston, but this will shut down the city for a day or so...

Freezing fog? First time I ever heard that one.
We might be seeing some of that snow later tonight into tomorrow. Sounds like the snow is scheduled for the exact time frame that I have to be out on the roads tomorrow. However, it was so windy yesterday the streets are dry and the snow will be light and powdery because it's so cold. No 50's on tap here for next week. Forecast for the foreseeable future is cold. In face some below zero temps on tap for later this. weeks. I still prefer this to hot humid weather. I was out yesterday with just a jacket and I felt comfortable.
Depends on how this snow tracks as to how much we get. NWS out of Pittsburgh says we can get 1-2 inches overnight, OR we could get 6-8 inches, they don't know for sure. Another cold front tomorrow night will give us sub-zero temps. into Thursday, with more snow and ice coming Saturday-Sunday. The 50 degree temps. won't get here until the end of next week.
Only 77 degrees F today (25 C for you Gerry) (298.15K), and 84 F 2 days ago (28.8888888889 C for you Gerry) (302.0388888889K)
The rattlesnakes are waking up early, and slithering about already.
Well Jon the sun is getting higher in the sky, and when it is not cloudy it is warm in the sun when it's out. It was cold here yesterday, high of 9 but sunny and snow in my driveway was melting a little. Yeah we should see some what of a warm up soon it's 32 days until the first day of spring.
Sprang is Sproing.
Think of the implications of what would happen if the temperature actually got down to absolute zero. Imagine no molecular movement within materials at the zero-point.
Here we have a saying: This is New Jersey, if you don't like the weather just wait ten minutes. With something to complain about every ten minutes he'd be happier than a kid in a room full of bouncy balls. It feels like absolute zero, I don't know about molecules but nothing is moving out there.

69°F at 14:27 PST.
It's farging cccold.
Farging icehole, it is.
Bitch? You must be talking to Carl.
My mistake. Sorry
We got to 13 degrees Celsius today....... 6 degrees above normal that has been that way for about 2 weeks now..... Saturday promises to be warmer still. The neighbour has leaves starting to pop out on his cherry tree.My cherry tree in the back yard isn't quite there yet..... but the peach tree on the side of my house is budding out just nicely 6 weeks ahead of where it normally is! .......this warmer air is coming up from California and Arizona.....thank you Carl and Eddie! ......
Coldest day so far this year, so Dominion Power suffers an equipment failure at 3:00 am. That's when my power went off. It just came back on 20 minutes ago.
Incredible timing, and the SCC just deregulated Dominion for several years. I expect our already frequent power outages to increase.
BTW - it's 4° right now, up from a low of 2°.
The sleet just started, next comes the ice and snow.
Coldest February I remember for this area. This morning we were colder than Barrow Alaska, they were 5 deg F we were 1 deg F (up from -1 last night). It's going to warm up into the 20's and 30's (summertime) for the approaching winter storm. Then the temps drop back down. It's going to be cold for at least a week or more.
