Seems we've lost a few. I miss 'em all; Albi in particular (that's kinda selfish -- he had so much left to teach me!). I'd vote for just keeping their birthdays alive - a day for them individually, in remembrance. Voting the Pope's ticket on this one. ;)Quote:

I have left both Albert and Russ on my email lists, still see their avatars on my phones and such.
Set it up so they don't disappear. Gonna leave it that way too.
The good ones always go first, i wonder why sometimes having lost a good ham buddy last year....
One thing i noticed by being in the hobby 30 years, the early logbook has "SK" in it a lot. :(
Each of our SKs should have a day of remembrance of their own, rather than sharing.
There's no problem with calling it a birthday, as their birth was not negated by their death, and the mechanism needs no changing.
And who says they're gone? Those bar tabs are going up MUCH faster than even the hardiest of living Islanders can manage alone. I suggest we put up a GhostCam near the bar and investigate the matter.
