6 degrees C here, sunny, no wind, at -0.50 meters under sea level.
;)
Holy Toledo! We have clear blue skies in the cloudy state of Ohio.
I think I will be getting the scope out tonight and try to bag a comet.

Yup there sure is! Comet Lovejoy
It was -5 degrees C this morning been that way a couple of days now.....a little threat of snow for the weekend
We blew an extra 3 foot depth of cellulose insulation into the attic 2 years ago,but the heat got turned down a little too much last night when we went to bed, because it was cold in here this morning! :fever:
While it is 40 BELOW ZERO in the rest of the country, yesterday's HIGH TEMP in the USA was EL CAJON at 88 Degrees F! and I should know!! I had to run the Air Condx on the way into work (came in late at 11AM) Hot all afternoon but by dark it had cooled down.

I looked at your trip mileage and thought "holy chit, only 7MPG??" Then I remembered you're in a Big Truck and that's actually doing pretty well.
Thats not the trip mileage. Thats the actual hub! Its a BRAND NEW truck! Got in it at 25 miles on the hub!

Got in it Christmas Eve in Salt Lake City after my old truck basically fell apart.
New truck, kewl! What did you get?
I remember when Knight handed me the keys to a 2005 Volvo VNL 670 with 19 miles on the hub.
2015 FL Cascadia. Im liking it! Suspension is rougher then my old Intl Prostar and the insulation isn't very good. Having a rough time keeping warm in this subzero temp. But it runs nice, doesnt have a nannycam and has a 1500w power inverter in it! Got a 600w microwave waiting for me at home. Gonna be nice not havin to eat in truckstops anymore.
Nice, the higher trim level model. The school I used to work for rented one of those for a few days once and I was surprised by the difference over the standard model. For one thing, I didn't have to shout to be heard.
Wow - we don't often get a real blizzard warning around here. I had to dig to find the weather radio to turn the alarm off...
It's fscking cold here.
15 degrees outside this afternoon. Quite comfortable.
Fucking cold here, too. Didn't even get to 70°F today. Brutal.
9C here expecting scorching 12 to 14 C here tomorrow, new warm record.... problem is the ffing gale force winds we have the whole week gusts running up to 60 knots ...rain included.
Thursday morning at 9:30 am was 7ºF (-13.889ºC).
Building codes around here aren't rated for that.
It was -3F here this morning, going to 12F today and to 33F tomorrow
A pineapple express from Hawaii rolled in here this weekend and hit us with about 100 millimeters of rain but really nice temperatures of 13 degrees Celsius... that's an El Nino pattern :-|
Weather is all over the place. Hot cold. Wet dry.
Looks like we will get something like 3-8 inches of snow into tomorrow. I'm in for the long run, or until Tuesday when I go to the Doctors.
Snow? WTF is that? It just hit 80 outside here. Tomorrow it will probably rain, but I'm sure it will be a dry rain.
Extreme blizzard warning issued for the east coast from New Jersey to Maine for Monday, mid-day through Tuesday. Two feet of snow, heavy winds, power outages. If you are in the affected areas, please prepare accordingly and DO NOT underestimate this storm!
Stay warm and safe.
Last of our 2" of snow melting getting more of that Thursday...
It was a just a little shy of 15 degrees Celsius today......I don't think we broke any records for warmth in January but I think we were pretty close.....
"Extreme blizzard warning issued for the east coast from New Jersey to Maine for Monday, mid-day through Tuesday."
Yep, I read the NOAA warning.
"If you are in the affected areas..."
You mean like New Jersey mebbe?
"...please prepare accordingly and DO NOT underestimate this storm!"
Well I'm about as prepped as I can be under the circumcisions and if the landlord can get here to dig his snow blower out I'll be OK. I managed with the one in the mid 90s that had me snowed in for a couple of days, I don't expect any worse.
I do not rake.
I do not mow.
I do not scoop the snow.
I am heading out. When I get back I don't expect to be able to get out of here for a few days. Severe blizzard with intense winds, massive snow drifts is expected to start later this afternoon.. In addition to the white out conditions, extremely high winds, blinding drifting snow blanketing the area it is also expected that coastal areas will experience some heavy flooding from the sea.
