Just got my statement from the marina. I've used .4 KWH of electricity since October 1. That's seven cents worth. Separately, I used $3.40 worth of propane for my galley stove.
This boat thing really is a cheap way to live.
I'm looking at 20 tons of river rock dumped at the end of my driveway. I think that comes to about 200 wheelbarrows full that I have to shovel and move. At a rate of 20 wheelbarrows full a day, I should have my driveway back in 10 days, right? What have I done?

I do need the exercise plan, there is no doubt. I am not building a river, but close. Living here on what I call "The Back Ass Banks" of Albemarle Sound brings a lot of water. I'm trying to channel a lot of water out of my crawl space.
Thanks for the offer of the machine assist, but I have so many nooks and cranny's to stuff rocks that I might as well get the exercise. I may hire a few backs to help. Living in the land of retirees there are a lot of landscape and lawn services here.
When you finish, I have 120 tons of asphalt you can work on. Actually, it is from a canceled job, and I would love to get rid of it. You bring the truck, and I'll load it.
