Big swings in temps out here lately. Highs during the day ~103F, and lows ~55F.
It was very cold here last night and this morning. I'm not sure if my painting outside is drying or freezing.
Yesterday afternoon was the perfect time to begin construction of my snow bike...wet snow in NEOH. Screw you very much, Lake Erie!
There are temperature swings and mood swings, then there's creativity.
Nice. Temps are down in the 40;s this morning. I kept the window open all night and I got the room down to a comfortable 62 deg. Best it's been all year.
Good damn...... summer doesn't seem to want to end in this part of the world. It's 24 degrees Celsius outside under the bright sun and we smashed another all time record high temperature in October!.......never been this warm ever in this month!....... no end yet in sight.....it's spooky really for around here!
"...never been this warm ever in this month!....... no end yet in sight...."
GLOBAL WARMING, WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE! You! You and your CO2... stop breathing and save the planet.
"I don't know about the temps, but they got cougars and bears there, eh."
I know about the Temps, they were a great vocal group. I'll take the cougars, you can keep the bears hoser, take off eh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Jm4LoOaAWI
Went to visit my boss today. he said, it's "hot at hell" here today. :)

Saturday morning was 37º. A big deal for us in SC. Didn't get over 57º that day. 80º today and 85º expected for Wednesday. About 72º right now with light rain. That's fine with me.
That's pretty much how it worked out here on Monday. Today's the warm one then reality will freeze the warm fuzzies right outta me. Love the sound of rainfall at this time of the year. October rain has always felt good after it rained something like 10" one October when I was in college. The Ham I knew across the street had women going in and out like Grand Central Station, and I could see them boarding for a ride every night through the rain. ;)
(tropical depression)Simon said: 1.12" rain here on the marijuana field.. and its still raining.
34°F (1°C) here right now. 36°F (2°C) in the valley, but we're supposed to get warmer (~70°F/~21°C) this week with rain forecast for M-F.
The only things I still miss about the city are the buses, trains and the sidewalks, but this weather is just right.

Warm and sunny up here at Santa Clara this Sunday, with just a tiny bit of a Chill early in the morning. the Nun wore a sweater I wore a TSHIRT
I'm about tog et slammed. Narrow but fierce band of storms coming through. Local news says roof blown off in Temple OK about 25m sw of me. I can hear the thunder rumblin. Glad I took my antenna down.
im a hangin on. It's coming through right now. Roofs takin a rain beating. Maybe a bit of hail in it. News reporting a big truck blown over on i44 mm6 just inside OK. Also reporting lights out next town south of me.
ETA Roof blown off a house in town here. not sure where it it is from where I am
Made it through last nights storms ok Duncan had a gust of 78mph at peak of the storm. The reports of the "roof" being blown off as reported by local news were greatly exaggerated...lol It was only a screen door. Temple OK however had Autozone lose it's roof entirely. Thats about 25 miles from me i guess.
Temp is now 55 degrees and light rain. We need it so badly here. The initial storm came through so quick last night it didn't leave much rain.
The leaves are already past peak here. About 50% of the leaves have fallen. In the city, the news is telling everyone to come up to see the foliage, but there is little to see. A tree here and there that has red leaves, most have the brown that is seen in a NY City park in the fall.
Still, it is a bit over two weeks before the peak was the last two years... I wonder if El Niño is going to crank up this winter?
For the most part, still green here in south Jersey. The trees will start shedding big time within the next week or two. Got my new backpack, 2 stroke , 50CC leaf blower all ready. Bring it on.
Looks like another year that the cactus needles won't be changing into fall colors.
I know nothing of this "autumn" thing of which you speak.
Just the usual thing with leaves here, brown and down. At least one good day however, partly cloudy and a balmy 75 degrees, perfect for grocery shopping on my sport utility bicycle. What's not so perfect is having eyes all around and hands on the brake levers on the lookout for blind rabbits like the one that ran me over last year.
Saw on the news a few minutes ago that Warren had a waterspout near his QTH. Interesting weather your getting there...
In the middle of a three day Nor'easter. Winds 50-60 mph with downpours. I hear NYC and the coast are getting hit worse though. As bad as th downpours are here, I remember a lot more rain associated with these when I lived near the ocean in Brooklyn. Sideways rain too.
Winds 80-90 mph here. Wide spread power outages. Looks bad. But nothing compared to Sandy. Rain slamming against the building all day. 4,5,6 trains down due to signal wipe out. So far we are holding out but if it gets any worst we'll be cooked.
Sunny and 82°F (28°C) here today.
