It's been years since I shared that, and no, I have no idea WTF is going on in that photo. The approaching truck does appear to be a 90's something Ford Ranger.

I got the same message from Safari. I just figured a bunch of 133t hax0rs took over the site and came in anyway.

I never worry about "unsafe" screams about certificate problems from Google Chrome or anyone else it's just that they try everything short of nuking your computer to stop you from getting to the site. Mike is on the ball and no problem with that but the great Wide Web really needs to chill when a Cert lapses for a bit I mean really.... :wtf:

Thanks, Jack! Although I do vet the new users, and make subtle changes to the software configuration now and then, Michael, KD8TUT, is doing the heavy lifting at the server level. My rudimentary knowledge in server configuration would NOT serve us well...:squint:

The site was down for weeks -- was that the result of a DDOS attack?

If so, can anything be done to mitigate these attacks in the future?

Just got back on after a week or 2.
Sems lots of sites now use software to check if you are legit.

I wonder if the cloud flare and other checks if I'm human involve the app opening the selfie camera lens to see if I'm staring at it as it check of my humanity. Anyone else wonder that? Am I correct?
