Late night and AM showers gave way to partial clearing before more clouds rolled in. Four more days of solid rain expected.
Could have been a typo. Then again, this is South Carolina. The remote monitoring gear isn't always in great shape. I know the one by the railroad tracks is/was constantly being repaired. I saw them working on it one day and saw a rust spot running from the top mounting position to the underside of the box, on the pole. I suggested they look at the mounting parts as that would be the weak spot letting in unwanted moisture to areas they didn't want it!
They were polite. I felt I was told to STFU and FO. That was 5 years ago. Haven't seen it worked on since but the rust lives on.
I'm at 99% humidity now with a floating mist in the air. 56ºF. 57º dew point.
Rust never sleeps. I seem to remember that from somewhere in my childhood.
