"the Walking Zed"
You hit the zed right on the nail! Unfortunately it being the swamp (not to be confused with the M*A*S*H swamp) it went SPLAT and you really don't want your hammer back.
Summer his us early this year. This heat and humidity is overbearing.
Eh, it is what it is, 86 with HI 89 and I'm not laughing. You really have little to complain about, here at the shore summers are hot and steamy, winters are cold and damp. You may like cold but you wouldn't like damp, it soon penetrates layers of clothing and chills to the bone. It's neither hot nor damp in Point Barrow, Alaska and KL7 is sought after DX.
I am not sure I would want to live in Point Barrow. I am geared more towards the Canadian Yukon or it's Alaskan counterpart. I like mountains, snow and pine trees.
But for now and the rest of the summer I'll probably spend most of my time hiding in an air conditioned room as I am doing now.
Mostly cloudy here, high of 72°F, low 57°F. Currently 67°F with wind from the WNW at 4 mph, gusting to 7 mph
Light Rain and 74ºF (23ºC).
TS Bonnie has hit the east coast sending up this rain.
We get rain from almost any direction in this location. You can tell by the smell where it pulled the majority of its water from.

People have managed to screw up the environment so badly gigantic gravity waves could mix summer with winter, and the jet stream could run from pole to shining pole. The human inhabitants of this planet have missed the global warming bells until now, so maybe this blunt new warning will hit home.
Gravity waves and the jet stream? Huh?
uhm, yes, the upper jet stream wandered over the equator and mixed up with the southern Jetstream, which totally surprised boffins because they never saw that happen, the wandering of jet streams also changing weather patterns.
