Usually this behavior does not last much past 7 years old...

HOWEVER....

There is the notorious Snot Vampire. He (or she) will sneak up on you--often in your sleep--and suck your nose dry. Thwart this scourge by placing a heavy plastic bag over your head prior to falling asleep.

So, would snot the more liquid form of boogers, have a lesser concentration of salt per deciliter than true boogers?

I've asked Mr. Owl and he don't know.

Yes. Since boogers are merely forms of dehydrated snot and the dehydration process leaves salt behind, the volumetric content of salt in boogers will be higher than that of snot.
