The left side of the shack was set up exclusively for her - as the multiplier position. Automatic everything; point-and-shoot...but I think she developed mic fright somewhere along the way. :snicker:

I have enough gear stashed to replicate that position on the right side of the console and will set it up once we have the proper location...namely, a rec room or basement that's conducive for a bit of expansion. The Drakes and Cubics will be set up on the opposite wall. Ironically, I'll probably spend most of my ragchewing time on that side of the shack. Color me nostalgic if you will but the older stuff is fun to operate.

The golden microphone is not in the picture. Heil GM5. Nor is the PS, MFJ-4035MV

The cat, Amber, can't be in the same room if I'm in QSO. I don't know if she gets jealous or if something else is bothering her but she'll bite my arm if I'm in QSO.

It was hard to photograph because it's so small, roughly 5' x 5' square.

An ST-3B and a Hallicrafters receiver...most cool!

Not the sharpest picture, but this is the one I submitted a few weeks back to the "Ten Tec Community".

Some of the items pictured were deliberately placed for the picture (like the PM2B & 2591), but the Omni & Corsair are in their "normal" operating positions.

The shack is still not completed; I have a lot of other shelving work to do, and the Corsair ends up being too high to use comfortably most of the time. But the shack project is on hold until some other things happen; if everything goes according to plan, I'll have a new (larger) room for the shack in a few months & can start over from scratch.

So, then, Ron, you like Ten Tec gear? ;)

(I'm sort of the same way about Drake stuff. I'm gonna be adding a TR-7 to the shack in a couple of months.)
