The marijuana plantation hit 101 today. With abundant (well...slightly eclipsed) sunshine.
It went from grey to dark grey near sunset to Dark Shadows grey at sunset during the eclipse. The only thing missing was the music.

You got that boring fast weather in the desert. I know sunsets last about 30 seconds in Florida. Probably not much better in the Southwest...
Here, the sunsets aren't especially fast but they do come early. San Diego is so far east that we're due south of Boise, ID. If time zone boundaries were were drawn strictly every fifteen degrees of longitude, we would be in the Mountain time zone instead of the Pacific time zone.
