TRI Freq counter
Pics are hard to see, unfortunately.
Before you do anything with that Bird 43...buy and install an element, either a real one or a dummy (shorting) version. They don't like to be jostled around without the meter being damped electrically.
I have several slugs for it so not a problem. I don't know how the pictures came out so poor with a PHD camera. But they are what they are. damn computer has been a PIA all day too.
Does your camera have a macro setting? The Bird is worth a few bucks by itself. Too bad the slugs for HF are so damned expensive.

The dummy loads
The B&W wattmeter/dummy load is sure rusted up, but those are really nice and useful. Also the SINNADDER is great for peaking up rigs. It analyzes the audio signal. The scope looks nice, hope U can fix it. Probably just oxidized switches.
Don't give your Bird and/or slugs away. Those are like cash.
Someone just gave me a bird the other day, but I was driving at the time.
There was probably some reflected signal he could measure from his feedpoint, I would imagine.
At least he didn't give me a slug, too.
I figured I could get you to say something like that with a little coaxing.
Nice finds. So where'd you find them?
After coming up with those gems, you should be beaming.
OK, I give. Let the puns commence.
Because resistance is futile.
Congrats on your inductance to the thread. It's nice to know you have the capacity to participate. Many show a reluctance to join in. Just ask Mho. We finally had to send him ohm. I really want to have sex with his mother. I just can't seem to resistor. But, I don't want to transformer into the neighborhood slut.

At least you're learning how to focus a camera, keep practicing and eventually we'll see what we're looking at. (;->)
You're a bunch of punny guys!
"Many show a reluctance to join in. Just ask Mho. We finally had to send him ohm."
I always thought Mho was the conductance who made many join in so I had to ask him. He has no idea what you're talking about, reluctance is Farad's and his son Micro's magnetic domain.
Funny you should mention that. I was sent a link to an outfit that was selling digital voltmeters for a pittance. I ordered a couple, but since they're coming from VR2, I don't expect them for a few weeks yet.
I'm hoping to use one each on my RS-35, RS-12, and RS-7. If they all work & I don't blow one up, I ought to have a few extras... but let's not get ahead of ourselves here.
You are a bunch of Punny guys. I am trying to maintain the capacity to resist the temptation for additional input. I may have to spin the knob.../
Did someone say... knob?
