I have and it does make for a quick contact, but I am very fond of bathroom breaks and beer runs during the JT-65/JT-9 QSOs, so it does have its drawbacks.
And of course, as the night goes on and the number of beer runs increase, well one does tend to wander.
Put the five gallon bucket back in the shack? I'm looking into FT8.
Decided to fire up one of my FT-857's as a dedicated digital rig.
So, pretty soon. Summers are freakin' busy with house repairs.
Still love my Flex 3000, and it will be the main SSB/AM rig, as well as for general SWL.
