Nice!
Fender skirts and the spare!
Not really a fan of most '50s cars, but it's nice to see one that looks like it gets some use, and doesn't just sit around getting looked at.
George, there is a new show on Discovery Channel called "Cuban Chrome" shot in the Havana area following members of a car club there. Saw it last week I think it's on Monday nights @ 8:00 EDT. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out, not a bad show.
Just one gem? You should have been at the Vintage this weekend, the golf course was full of gorgeous cars from that era.
I only got to see a few, we were busy and I never did get a break to walk up off the course.
(And yes, I have some pictures, haven't had a chance to download them from the flash card yet)

I watched that show the other night, pretty good show. The Cubans don't have access to parts like we do so they have become really good at making parts and also at repurposing parts. In the last episode they had a 53 Olds in which the original V8 had blown so they replaced it with a 4 cylinder boat engine.
I also like the Crown Vic, I remember there were still a lot of them running around where I lived in the 60's. The thunderbird decal on the boot is a little over the top but it's a beautiful car.
Just saw this.
But can it mow the lawn?
Oh, hell yes. Hold my beer.
As long as we're dreamin', I'd like to cruise in one of these, maybe with a ski rack?
