And it's a once-in-a-century Pi Day—to four decimal places: 3.1415!
It's 3-1-4-1-5-9-2-6-5-3 day
all day in Laguna Hills, CA
It will happen twice today, actually.
How irrational.
I worked K8PI on 40 this afternoon.
The op was saying that one of the club members got wind of Pi Day, and organized the op thinking it was a fun idea. I think he was right!
"Well, you can't have your cake and eat it, too."
You can't have your Pi pie and eat it too either but I'm going to eat mine before somebody else does. You can't get Blue Tooth from eating Raspberry Pi but I don't care, make mine pumpkin. Hey, if it's 3.1415 inches in diameter and filled with weed would you call it a pot Pi? Shit, I don't care what you call it, SPARK IT UP!
Well, the event is over, for another century.
Hope you all had fun working the Special Event Stations; I know of two in the 8th district, beyond that, I hadn't heard.
If you didn't work them, all you can do is lament...
Bye, bye. Missed American Pi.
I'm waiting for "e" day. Of course I can always imagine it's "i" day.
