Merry Christmas

I don't know if I will be on the computer tomorrow with family coming in, but I want to wish everyone on the Island a very Merry Christmas from my house to yours !

After considerable thought, I have decided to take offense at your "Merry Christmas" greeting. I feel that by wishing me a Merry Christmas you are falling back on outdated, elitist, patriarchal, ableist, heteronormal, white-privileged and cis-privileged habits of thought and communication.

In future, I would appreciate it if you would amend your greeting to "Happy Holidays."

And, you are probably one of those people who think Santa Claus is white.
