& Here I Thought The Furries Were... Different

There's a whole bunch of people walking around our end of Downtown today, heading for the Convention Center.

"Tekkoshocon X-2" is here.

It's a celebration of enthusiasts of Japanese Anime and all things JA-wise, from an entertainment standpoint... including "costume play". :chin:

One of my co-workers just described a man she saw heading for the Convention Center main entrance... 40-ish, balding, with a paunch, and dressed up like a character from her youngest one's favorite anime cartoon on TV: Sailor Moon. I'm not asking which one, and I think I'm glad I didn't witness this one...:yuck:

Suffice to say... there's been a small but steady stream of, ah, interesting outfits going past our doors. And no camera handy, dagnabit.

Jessie has suddenly gotten very interested in Doctor Who. (She likes the idea of putting a minitaure windmill-type structure in the flower garden... one that is actual a Dalek in disguise.)
