An other oldie, Orson Wells drunk.

Damn. Those are funny.
I know the Paul Masson winery, it's in Los Gatos south of San Jose. That's where my grandparents are buried.
Paul Masson was never taken seriously as a "California Wine", so they hired big Orson for PR. His "We sell no wine, before it's time" became a big joke out there. I think Paul Masson evenetually sold to some big booze outfit and last time I checked, they sell nothing but jug wine for winos.
They disappeared from the grocery store shelves in the late 80's
The Cats, California? No wonder it tasted like cat piss. Drunken Orson was funny enough but the impersonator was funnier if not a little overboard. Now if they got THIS guy to impersonate him it would have been hysterical! Who is he? If you don't know him right click on the image, then click on "save image as".
Yer harshing my mellow with the 313 nonsense, dude...
No 313 at all. The "Bookends" were a class act in every respect. IIRC, IIS ran a Collins 20V and VXV ran a mint condition Johnson Desk Kilowatt. They were a superb old school AM operation, and very entertaining / informative while having Sunday morning breakfast. Their moniker was something like, "Being heard in living color, all up and down the eastern seaboard and well into Canada...) I guess you'd have to been there... Fond amateur radio memories for me.

BTW, Janet, my name is Phil - not "Dude"...
