Secruity Guards, Custodians and IT personell...

A while ago I posted about how companies started outsourcing those functions. As I typed the types of workers that fell into that category, the juxtaposition of the three groups jumped out at me.

So....IT workers are considered in the same category as janitors and guards? Muy interesante!

I can see it now. The janitor's emptying your wastebasket and notices stuff in there that he/she thinks shouldn't be. And, you know, it's the janitor that really should have the final say about what goes in your wastebasket. So....instead of just doing his/her job, he/she chews you out for what you put in your wastebasket, probably calling you names (at least to him/herself), then leaves your wastebasket as full as it ever was. Maybe telling you that you've got the wrong type of wastebasket.

After all, the janitors just know about wastebaskets and trash.
