10m open again this morning. Just had RTTY QSO with HZ1PS. Before that, OD5NH on SSB.
Fire it up, kids. ;)
Wow—four months elapsed between my original post and the first reply. That has to be some sort of record.
Who would have thunk it. Been in the shack messing about with JT-65 in to Europe already. Currently sitting with a cup of coffee and the ARRL Antenna Handbook and pondering a project. No adult supervision today so I think I can slip another antenna up and it won't be noticed.
It's probably taken 4 months for the SFI to get above 120. ;)Quote:

10M has been opening up almost every day the last week or so....
worked ZL2OK the other day with 25W mobile & got a 5/7 report...not
too bad with low power into a mag mount ant.....

it's wide open again....worked FO4BM in Polynesia with 25W mobile 2 hrs ago....
I was when I replied - trying to finish up the installation of an FTM-10SR, JMCB2003 and support peripherals on a motorcycle. This so I can get the bodywork back on the bike before it gets too cold outside and the plastic becomes brittle. Should have things fully wrapped up this week; definitely by the weekend.Quote:
