I think he's alright. He plays a little fast, and has 500 songs he can play.
I think he needs to pick 10, or 20 and get good at those.
What do you think ?

Beats the hell out of anything I could do.
I'd encourage him.
If this were facebook, I'd like it.:agree:
Thanks,
I'm pretty proud of him.
He started when he was four.
We put him in lessons, and lost a few years there with an instructor that babied him.
He loses interest for months at a time, then hot'n'heavy for a while.
My favorite song he plays is Don't stop believing by Journey, but he says it hurts his wrists.
He can play anything he hears.
We encourage him every chance we get.
Very nice. He's pretty talented and I hope he continues to pursue it.
Sounds good. I played violin when I was younger and I was the same way. I would lose interest in it for months at a time and then I would get back into it for a while, lose interest again, and get back into it again. Then when I reached high school age I put the violin down and never touched it for decades. About a year or so ago I got back into playing it again and I found that I really enjoy it. So much so that I recently bought myself a new fiddle. it set me back about $1000 but its worth it because I am learning new techniques, and I am improving my playing style. And it's a great way to relax. My only regret is that I stopped playing for so long.
I wish your son luck. Hopefully he will stick with it. It is very rewarding and definitely well worth the time and effort.
I'm musically inept xD I can't carry a tune to save my life xD
Tell the kid not to give up his day job. ;)
That's just awesome!
