Anyone remember Silvercup Bread ? My mom used to like Silvercup because it waqs one of the few commercially available breads that would really toast up nice and dark and still retain a good consistency.

They might be most famouse for the Silvercup Rocket. Walking through that at the Michigan State Fair in '57 or '58 was one of the highlights of my childhood!

And the bread? Guess it was OK....interchangable with Wonder, Tastee (Baked while you sleep), etc.

The WBNY QSL card reminds me: I got a reception report via eQSL from a SWLer in the Netherlands. I thought that was pretty cool, having been on the other side of things for years as an SWLer myself. I sent him a real card.
