I got waylaid by a self-absorbed local ham who wanted to talk about boring stuff. Life is like that some times.
I listened in but my software only picked out bits and pieces.
I need to go digital.
Rather, I need to find some software which supports the newer protocols and connect up my rightmost '940 to the adjacent computer setup.
What's everyone using these days?
Ham Radio Deluxe and MultiPSK, both free/donorware.
N4PY's paid subscription software... SO2R with the Pegasus and the TS-850.
I don't don't use Linux for radio stuff, and I have too much other Winders software. That may change.

A good soundcard. Some of the cheap crap MUST accept interference and MUST cause interference. Yaanowhatahmeen. :snicker:
Fldigi is very good...

I use a SoundBlaster Live USB sound "card" with a home made isolation transformer. Works well. Though mobile PSK31 isn't very practical. :)
+1 vote for Fldigi :)
