The future of the wire. WOW !!!!
Here you go. The latest prototype Japanese antenna. The Japanese Oscillating Kinetic Emitter. The way it works is by taking the connectors (shown in picture) and pre-connecting them to the horizontal wires strung. Each wire is cut to a different length for a combination of a desired band. This design is very useful for those with a small area for wire antennas and by moving the connectors along the wire will make it directional. The prototype has shown exceptional frequency range on 10-80 meters, with an SWR of 1.65 or lower. The major part of the system is the oscillator itself (not pictured). It rotates at 1450 rpm distributing the transmission signal equally between selected "probes" that are attached to the wires. The wires being stacked above each other creates a curtain effect, with a double cloverleaf transmission pattern. And with each wire being offset of each other (by milliseconds) due to the oscillator, it creates an almost three phase effect on the signal. The antenna is still in the testing phase and should be available to the market by fall of this year.

Re: The future of the wire. WOW !!!!
Interesting. Can it be remotely tuned, possibly by computer control?
Re: The future of the wire. WOW !!!!
It is computer interfaced. The radio outputs the frequency to the computer which in turn controls the speed of the oscillator. With the pre-cut wires, it is almost freestanding of any tuner. They claim that once the international patent has been accepted, they can release more as to the functionality.
