Has anyone here streamed live audio from your rig (not IRLP or Echolink) over the internet?

If so, can you please tell us how you did it (describe it step by step)??

Thanks

Oh hell, I know I'm going to regret answering this... But yes, I have..

I run a standard RCA to 1/8" audio cable from the aux output on the back of my rig to the sound card input on my computer.

I have an application in Linux on that computer called Darkice (http://darkice.tyrell.hu/) which connects to a server I have hosted on the Internet at a colocation site. That server runs Icecast (http://icecast.org), which is a streaming server application.

People connect to Icecast using a standard MP3 player, and that's that.

Well I use Windows Vista so dark ice wouldn't help me.

Thanks though
