HBD to ya Fred (N8YX)! Hope the double holiday brings you joy!
And, Merry Christmas to everyone else (that this applies to)! Sorry, I'm too old to be politically correct any more, apologies to anyone offended.

Happy End of Year Season surrounding the Winter Solstice whatever you want to call it, however you choose to celebrate it as per your personal tradition.
Happy Personal New Year, Fred! Will there be a costume party in your honor?

To slightly paraphrase National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation:
Yes sir! Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, kiss my @$$, kiss his @$$, kiss your @$$, Happy Chanukah.

And, for my very good friend, Ron, Happy Hanukkah! Am reading up on your festive celebration now. Quite rare that it starts on Christmas Day like this year.

Occurring in the wintertime, Hanukkah is an eight-day festival of lights, which is celebrated with nightly menorah lightings, special prayers and fried foods.
One candle is lit each night on the menorah, which is placed in a doorway or window, each night, until all candles are lit
on the eighth night. Special blessings are recited before the lighting and traditional songs are sung afterwards.
The ninth flame on the menorah is called the shamash, which is often positioned higher or lower and used to light the other lights.
It pleases my old soul to learn something new, especially about such a beautiful celebration as Hanukkah.
Merry Merry & Happy Happy Fred
Best regards to everyone from CN86jd
