Little Miss Field Day Does It Again

So, Little Miss Field Day... aka The Unwilting Tatiana, look it up... came over for dinner. Left with something special for her boyfriend.

Seems he keeps after her about what his Christmas present is going to be. (A laptop, BTW). So she and some friends came up with an idea.

He's going to get a bag of coal. Well, an old Kingsford Charcoal bag, courtesy of my stash in the garage.

The laptop box will be inside... another box from some kids game they found, fits perfectly... which will be wrapped in the charcoal bag.

My daughter. Such a naughty, almost evil twist.

I have taught her well.

I did that with a laptop bag tucked inside a landscaping brick which itself was placed in a very large gift-wrapped box.

My lady was NOT impressed.

She received a second for a birthday present a few months afterward.

Those bricks and another like them now form the base of a watering platform in our orchard. I thought about their utility years down the road. Her kids "got it" immediately, Shame she didn't.
