Whatever Olde Pharts are drinking these days, I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure that whatever it is they're pouring it into a teacup or coffee mug and storing it in a silver hip flask.

Okie dokies then…… first of all…… happy belated birthday to Paul and Carlo!

Well, this old pharte is stuck at work for a few hours longer today and I’ll even be kind enough to spare you all by not attempting to remember and retype with mine thumbs all that I had intended to lay out for y’all on my last attempt at a newsy and witty reply.

Thanks guys for all of the well wishes! Not really sure how or why I have managed to be able to complete my 65th orbit around our sun and have apparently started on the 66th one today. Or did I just complete the 66th one……. Hell I dunno, it’s all become a chore for this old bugger to keep up with.

Just have started my adventure at attempting to become an old age pensioner……. Unfortunately it will likely take not less than one half of this upcoming orbit to make it happen.

Anyway, just a word of advice for any other poor old buggers like me who thought they were doing well……. Don’t try to die. It’s really simple as that. To expound upon it a bit more…….. the more complicated medical maladies you choose, the more expensive it becomes. Thus, the more specialists and surgeons, etc. will effectively empty your bank accounts and pockets. Trust me on this one guys and remember……. American hospital systems and medical insurance companies are NOT your friends.

I’ll just leave it at that because I guess that’s a wee dram political and I’m obliged to try to meet expected protocol.

Anyway, be all that as it may….. I still actually really do have an amateur radio station in my possession, humble as it may be, and yes, I really do plan to talk to all of you old sods using it.

Sorry I don’t get too much of a chance to visit this feckin island as much as I would like but I really appreciate you guys and your well wishes.
