They swept the Fish. Now they pounded the gNats. Spoiled their home opener, too.

I've come to strongly dislike that flag meme. It's part of the "rally cry" they play when the Pirates (at home, of course) are down by 4 runs or less in the bottom of the 9th. Along with a severely overused clip from Pirates of the Caribbean III: The Search for More Money.

Once in a while, just once in a while, I wish they'd go back to John Belushi, reminding his frat brothers of the time that the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
