It’s been a joke in TV shows. It’s featured in a Southwest Airlines ‘Wanna gotta way?’ ad. It can’t possibly happen fir real, right?
It happened.
The Boss now works part-time for the Pirates at PNC Park. Tonight was a Guns’n’Roses concert. I went to pick her up afterwards.
I pull up to the corner of General Robinson and Mazeroski Way. Put on my 4 ways as a precaution. And as she’s walking up, some guy cuts in front of her and tries to open the passenger door. “Hey! You’re MY Uber! Open Up!”
(Yeah, he sounded like he had a few too many)
The Boss tells him “Sorry, that’s my ride.”
”No! That’s MY Uber!”
”No, that’s my husband.”
His Uber pulled right as we left, incidentally. Hope the driver got a good tip.
