Would You Buy One Of These?

My primary interest is receive quality, sensitivity, selectivity and the ability to hear through the ether. Putting aside the old adage that antenna is everything, it is, most of the old stuff we've all come to love is aging out, being sold for parts or will become a parts rig soon enough. As much as I love all the famous names, it's time to move on.

Leaving things like the Icom 7300 out of the equation because it's on the short list for a future full-on rig, would you buy one of these? I'm looking at a modern laptop to run it with or maybe set up this fairly recent desktop with 3 year old technology.

The missus has ordered a good bit of stuff out of China over the years and the shipping time is usually around 2 weeks so that is no longer an issue for me as it once was.

A little research suggests that software support is a bit lacking but some of the reports are a year old so that may have been addressed.

I failed to mention that I also watched some YouTube stuff on it. Too many unknowns for me with regard to longevity and reputation.

I'm sure everyone knows by now but HRO is selling them. I did notice a pair, the G90 and the X6100 or X5100 last time I was there.
