For those who celebrate.

May you get time with family and friends...enjoyable time...free from drama and care.

(Yes, it kicked off in earnest around mine last night. Country boys know all about pissing on hornet's nests then standing back and watching the phun... )

Happy holidays to all that celebrate something at this time of the year.

For those who do not, whatever their reason... have a nice weekend!

There will be drama. Usually in transit. Drivers here think it's the wild west.
Last night it seemed as though it was a prerequisite to be intoxicated enough to make bad decisions but not to intoxicated to swerve in your lane.
I backed off and let the idiot brigade get well ahead of me while going SB on 85.

I celebrated some prime rib last night.
Ham and turkey and rigatoni w/ meatballs and sausage...etc. The one nice thing about the holidaze around here (regardless of what you're celebrating) is that your buds won't allow you to go hungry.

Had a good quiet one here. No family in the area, just me and the XYL carbon unit.

The Boss has pneumonia. My acute bronchitis has returned.

We spent a quiet weekend at home. Though Little Miss Field Day brought us roast beast, chicken, lasagna, and stuffing from the family feast.

Spending time with her mom for the holidays. She's not doing so hot and none of the other siblings are participating. Quiet, nice change. The tobacco in the house is a bit much though. Oh well, she's not going to change after 55 years.... yuk

MERRY HAPPY. That's it, it's short and sweet and covers every holiday year round both religious and political.
