Hi, just checking in as safe but a nervous wreck after Ida in Rahway NJ. hearing the house explode right in my area very early yesterday and then the fire alarms going off in my building jolting me out of a sound sleep last night didn't help my mental state either.

p.s. I hate you Ida, go f**k yourself!!!

Thank you for checking in and letting us know you're safe.

Let me know if and when you're ready for an Island nerve tonic.

Aw Sue, take a chill pill. (;->) I never did figure out where that gas explosion was that scared her, my home town got the usual Rahway River overflow that happens every time there's a heavy downpour like hurricane remnants. I lived through several, but this was her first, I understand how a BANG on top of minor flooding except along River Road 50 feet from the river that gets it bad every time would be unsettling. No, she lives across town from my old neighborhood a few blocks up on higher ground from there, she's OK.

As for me here in Lakewood, I slept through it and nobody floated away, but Long Island, New York caught the brunt of it head on. They're in a bad spot right in the path of them moving up the coast. There are plenty of news stories still kicking around the Internet, I captured a cell tower with long pieces of cables flying in the breeze. There you have it, how many times do we have to SCREAM cell service is the first to go down in an emergency before telcos wise up? At least they should stop using plastic cable ties and try Wraplock................

On edit: Great Show Charles, SOMEBODY besides me remembers the phrase "...more than Carter has pills.".

Glad to see you made it through ok, Sue.

I remember what the remnants of Ike did to this area in 2008. Fun. Yeah.

you are a real fucking jerk. This was NOT my first flooding incident here or when I lived in Cranford and we are not on higher ground, you aren't even here to see what happened on my street and streets and towns around me. Stop talking about everything that you know nothing about when you are 100 miles away and not here to see factual events and the aftermath people are going through for yourself and as far as that chill pill you should stick it up your ass while thinking about how you shouldn't run your mouth without knowing the facts.:angry::angry::angry:

Checking in here only one last time because I'm not one to get into a cat fight. One public outing deserves another Susan and then I'm gone, take a chill pill, jumping up and down like James Brown swearing like a drunken sailor is bad for your public image, reputation and your health, you can blow a gasket (aneurysm) that way. Next, learn how to read, you got everything I wrote bass ackward especially when further explanation was in the e-mail I sent you. You're living up to the phonetics the one you call biscuit head gave you, Screaming From Hell, you'll never get to Heaven THAT way.

All you do is push my buttons and throw the past up in my face when it comes to the biscuithead. He used to do the same to me as you have been doing. Did you pick up where he left off when I kicked him out of my life? You are 1/2 a step away from joining him in the kicked out pile. I have enough bad toxic situations in my family and my job to deal with, I don't need it from those who are supposed to be my friends. As far as cursing you out, you asked for it for pushing my buttons and talking down on my like I was a child and I'm not sorry for it.
