Went for the foundation in September, and full early this month in between intermediate done. so helped him a bit along the way.
Must have been my 40 th candidate i helped out over thee time, but the first outside our country borders :mrgreen:

We should bring in new hams, inspire them and take their hand and lead them.
Or else we will be extinct in a few decades.......
We keep contact, he's making his own antenna's now, and testing them.
He's quite active, enthusiast so i hope condx improve soon.

i didn’t realize OFCOM was reissuing the G5xxx calls. I remember when that call sign block signified a reciprocal ticket.

Not much use was made of that block of calls, so they became free for UK hams to use again.
Passed for his full exam wit 56 good from 58, even the RSGB honcho was impressed ;)
