No politics today. What little TV I watched was the Smithsonian Channel. Quiet and uneventful day, just like I like 'em!

Thanks!

Happy birthday!

No politix here ATM either. Trying to run parts down for yet another project and it'll consume your free time.

Free time? I remember hearing rumors of such things back when I was more of a working stiff. I'm still searching for it...

Happy late Birthday, Luke!

Thank you, gentlemen! Adam, it's great to see you here again! Havning survived your 2nd winter up there, I have to ask... how are the bugs?
(I hear the noseeums and 'skeeters are plentiful when it's warm in any of the New England states)

Doing well, Luke! We are going on 5 years now if you can believe it. Skeeters are little bastards, they will be bad this week when it pushes 90f. We also get those lovely blackflies, huge carpenter ants, wasps...all sorts of bugs and birds, but we dont mind it. Not so crazy about the Brown Tailed Moth caterpillar though, the little hairs that drop off of them cause a lot of problems for the skin and lungs, and they are everywhere. The house centipede is fast and freaky looking, but a good thing to see since they eat all the other pests and dont really bite us. We always have bites on us, the game is trying to figure out what the hell bit us, lol. But compared to the Desert Recluse, Widows, Bark Scorpions and killer bees...this is easy to deal with. Seen deer and turkeys in the driveway, pretty cool.

It was a rough transition for us moving here, but we learned to love it. We gave up everything. I kept having a frantic little voice in my head telling me to get us the fuck outta Vegas! In retrospect, im glad we listened. We have both been working for a cloud based medical logistics company handling claims and appeals for hospitals and private practices across the country. We have been working right through the pandemic and our company has been taking great care of us in many ways. We just have a few old bills to pay off and then we start looking for land and something to put on it. Still a ham, working a lot more Europe than ever before, the bands seem to be picking up a little. Bought a new Stratocaster. Thats about it. Pretty slow going up here, but thats what our spirit needed, i think.

I was wondering how things have been and i'm happy to see the Island still here with so many familiar faces still around. How have you been? How was your birthday? Did you get laid? These are important birthday questions!
