Lunch hour in Penn Hills has taken on an entirely new meaning for people waiting in lines to get a Rally’s meal.

“The traffic is terrible,” said Rob Schneider, summing it up while standing outside his vacuum distribution office on Frankstown Road. His office happens to be across the road from the brand new Rally’s fast-food chain.

Tampa-based Checkers & Rally’s Restaurants Inc. officially opened Oct. 7 in a vacant building along Frankstown Road that formerly housed a Taco Bell.

This is funny, they are closing these greasy-spatula joints faster than they can build them in my area. They have problems passing the health codes.

The new Popeye's here had traffic backed up for 3 weeks when it first opened.
People here were HANGRY for Popeye's after seeing the commercials run on TV for the last 3 years!

There's one that just opened in a town near here in NC and the traffic made the news.

Crazy good food, eh? You've got to be crazy to eat unhealthy fast "food" when you can be patient waiting for GOOD food at a diner. The difference in a simple hamburger is amazing, cooks in diners make them like I make them by hand out of quality ground beef, pimple faces in fast food joints serve recycled hockey pucks that sit in the steam tray for hours. Have you ever wondered why the cash register keys have little pictures on them? The Booger Fling (Burger King) in Point Pleasant Beach was empty most of the time for years until corporate finally discovered it was bleeding money and closed it.

For seniors with "low T" there is. NYLs (nubile young lovelies) only go for MYHs (muscular young hunks) and OWBs (old wrinkle bags) don't have what it takes to arouse the T we have left. There is another instance where SWF is used, the date want ads where categories are abbreviated, there it is Single White Female.

Joking aside and probably stating the obvious, where computers are concerned it stands for Shockwave Flash aka Adobe Flash. Due to obsolescence and security issues Mozilla dropped it in Firefox with the latest upgrade, in Add-ons Manager/Plugins, Shockwave Flash changed to an Ask to Activate - Never Activate option. They published a cutoff date when SWF will be dropped altogether, unfortunately I can't find it.
