I'm very sorry to hear this. Richard was a staunch conservative, and he and I agreed on almost nothing politcally. He did, however, respect everyone he conversed with, and would consider opposing points of view. On many occasions, he spoke well of his friends here on the Island when the slugs on qrz bashed us. Richard and I became good friends through the forums and PM's, and he gained a great deal of my respect. He was an honest man with a kind soul, a good and decent man, and a cherished friend. I will miss Richard.
