Hi guys,
So I just woke up. Had this weird dream.
Steven Tyler (of Aerosmith) had opened a technology store.
The store had a ham radio section. Two Chinese ladies tried to sell me a VHF antenna that clipped on your golf bag and an off brand antenna tuner.
Neither of them knew much about radio. But I told them I already had a tuner made by Elecraft.
They told me they are going to start carrying Elecraft next week.
Then I woke up.
WTF.
Did you fall asleep with the scanner on?

Did you fall asleep with the scanner on?
Nope... was next to the wife in bed.
Must've been something you ate. Or a preoccupation with Steven Tyler. Or Elecraft. Could've been Flex, so consider yourself lucky. Sorry about your fate. :snicker:

The ham shack currently has 4 scanners, 3 IC-R7000s and 2 R-5000s monitoring various non-amateur comms...throw in 4 HF and 2 VHF/UHF transceivers, a MURS rig and a CB (if I don't use one of the general coverage rigs to listen to 11M) and the room can get very noisy. Yet I can easily pass out in the middle of all of it...but certain phrases coming across the scanners or receivers will rouse me from a dead sleep.
