Ray Kelly ex-K1MBE, formerly KC9HJX from Gurnee, IL died yesterday. After several stints in prison for deliberately jamming several government repeater systems, he was also in/out of rehab for drug abuse.
I have no info on arrangements, but if you subscribe to the Hamsexy forum on Facebook, there is a long message thread running about Ray.
He literally had the world in his future many years ago; He worked at a two-way radio contractor in Salem, WI, had a fiancé, and when the demons struck he lost everything. Such a sad case; He was so smart and had a lot of radio knowledge, all to be dashed because of bad life decisions that he made.
