.Mel, you may , or may not be wealthy, but you are very rich indeed. Fine looking group of public servants. I am happy to see the little boys only dream of being a fireman being shared. I remember my neighbor little play friend who wanted to be a girl fireman. I made fun of her, and she dumped a pail of sand on my head (I earned it). Our mutual neighbor was a city fireman. He was on a 3 days on/ 4 days off rotation, or something. I remember seeing him in the grocery store dressed in gear (sans coat) with other firemen buying groceries for the firehouse. As a member of ARES, I have been deployed at the fires houses just in time for supper, and never turned down an invitation to dine with the crew. I helped clean tables, and load the dishwasher. If only our president had a ant's ass sized bit of ethics, and professionalism that the
fire fighters/EMTs/Paramedics always seem to have. I have lived in volunteer townships. I looked in to being a volunteer. The time requirements scared me off.
